How does it work?

1. My assistant takes a photo of your guests in groups of 1-4 people

2. The guests get to enjoy the party while I create their portrait

3. On a 4"x6" watercolor paper I do an initial sketch in ink, then use alcohol markers for the skin tones and watercolor paint for the clothing and other details

5. As portraits are finished they are put in protective plastic sleeves and displayed so the guests can come by and find their personal painting before leaving the event!

Things to know

***Depending on the guest number, I may not finish all the portraits before the end of the night. However, I book by guest count so anyone I did not finish at the party will be completed in my studio and delivered either to the host or directly to the guest. This is because I balance speed with quality, averaging 5-10 minutes per portrait depending on number of people and complexity of outfits and poses. I want your guests to feel seen, which means making sure these simple sketches still capture what they actually look like.***
